Why I Cherish Charleston

Where else in America can you have your cake and can eat it too, living in a 17th century traditional and elegant yet in many ways archaic pocket of advanced civilization with 21st century forward thinking multigenerational stewards of one place who posses exceptional manners and examine change with the tenacity to lead the movement or the diligence to fight progression, all the while being well dressed, well spoken, serving delicious fare caught, grown or shot locally and a well made cocktail with a pressed linen napkin?

That is the Charleston I cherish.
