Dave Felix started his special events career in Charleston with a four-year run at Orient Express’ Charleston Place Hotel, where he was a sales manager with Charleston Place Events, the hotel’s off premise event planning division. Prior to this experience, he enjoyed serving the guests that frequented the venerable Five Star/Five Diamond Jefferson Hotel in Richmond,Virginia.
Dave spent eight years as creative sales director for Charleston-based Planning the Globe. Felix won numerous national and international awards from organizations including SITE, NACE, ISES,
EventSolutions magazine and ConventionSouth magazine. Dave was also a recipient of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s “40 under 40″ designation.
